Lake Lonely

Lake Lonely is a choreographed filmic portrait centered on a parachute constructed from the template of a WWII military parachute made in China. The work takes the viewer into a protagonist's journey of solitude through the endless effort of riding a bicycle attached to a parachute from day to night. As the journey deepens, the light dims and exhaustion sets in, pulling the figure into familiar yet unidentifiable universal landscapes, conducting her search for Lake Lonely in silence. Is it falling or flying?
