This installation that explores the psychological and physical terrain of the borderlands between Calexico and Mexicali. Set between the Salton Sea and the Salada Lagoon, the work examines the complex intersection of humanity, nature, and cultural-political boundaries. Through the performative act of mopping an invisible wall, my persona confronts the psychological landscape of the desert, embodying the terror of the immigrant in the face of both tangible and intangible borders.
